L for Love

When I was younger, I felt left out among my peers. My best friends started talking about boys and eventually they started dating. I used to listen to their stories. I "Ohh"-ed and "ahh"-ed all the way. I thought to myself that one day, I want someone to love me like that too. I was young, and I was still discovering what love actually was.

One Sunday, I went to church and there was a new person in my Sunday School class. I got to know him a little and we became good friends. We became closer and closer as time passed. At one point, he told me that he really liked me and I liked him back. I thought to myself, "Is this what love feels like?"

I told my friends and they cringed at my story. I was a studious girl in school and one of my friend's said, "Well, if you like him then do what's right but don't forget your studies alright?" It got me paranoid and I broke his heart and mine as well.

A year later, I met someone else and I didn't care what my friends had to say about it. We enjoyed each others company and we cared for each other. And again I thought,"Is this love?"
I grew up with a religious background and one day, sent him my prayer for the night.
By the will and help of the Lord God, may our love last forever.

He told me it will happen.
a month later we broke up.

Everyday I prayed that I would get better. Praise and thank the Lord, He filled me with His love. It is then, I knew what love is. He has NEVER left me and never will.

Love. Its an amazing thing. From God, friends and family. Never let them go.

Love is an amazing gift and it sounds like you already know the most important kind of love.
